In loving memory of my brother, Colonel Harvey Hilliard, who passed away 16 years ago on February 13.

You went away so suddenly

We did not have a chance to say goodbye.

But brothers can never be parted

Precious memories never die.

My dear Brother now that you are gone

You’re no longer here to share

The bond we had together -

A bond of love and care.

I miss you so very much,

And my tears I cannot hide

Yet, within my heart, I feel

You are always by my side.

Ever since you went away
