5 p.m. Monday — Marlene Broman, 89, of Butler was injured when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree head-on along Crisswell road. She was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with an apparent minor injury. Her vehicle had to be towed.

5:20 p.m. Sunday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Bernard J. McCrea, 51, of Fenelton struck a traffic sign and an embankment on Chicora Fenelton Road just north of Danville Road in Donegal Township. A police report said he fled the scene of the crash without notifying authorities. It as not known if he was injured.8:56 a.m. Jan. 18 — Icy road conditions were blamed for a one-vehicle accident on Muddy Creek Drive in Brady Township. The crash occurred when Sheri L. Pollock, 56, of Slippery Rock lost control of her car and slid off the road, hitting a tree. She was not injured, but her car had to be towed.11:33 a.m. Jan. 12 — Genny L. Rowles, 37, of Slippery Rock lost control of her car before crossing over the opposing lane and hitting a tree along Route 528 just north of West Liberty Road in Brady Township. She was not injured, but her car was towed.Police cited Rowles for driving without a license, driving too fast for conditions and disregarding traffic lanes.

5:45 p.m. Saturday — Angela Masters, 36, of Kittanning was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 north in North Buffalo Township. She was taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township for a blood draw. Police said charges are pending lab results.
