MARS — The Mars Area School District announced dates relating to registration for the 2021-2022 Kindergarten Program at Mars Area Primary Center, 547 Route 228.

The 2021-2022 kindergarten registration packets will be available for pickup from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 25 and 26, at the Mars Area School District administration office, 545 Route 228.

Parents/guardians who pick up a packet on these dates will also receive their kindergarten registration lottery ticket. The selection of morning or afternoon kindergarten session is done through a lottery system.

Mars Area Primary Center will begin accepting completed packets at the school’s Kindergarten Lottery Registration Day, beginning at 9:30 a.m. April 16 at Mars Area Centennial School, 100 Winfield Manor Drive.

Parents or guardians who are unable to attend registration day can make an appointment for a pre-kindergarten assessment by contacting the primary center at 724-625-1588, beginning April 19.
