Blake Lively was awarded a meager portion of the millions of dollars in attorneys’ fees that she demanded be paid by Justin Baldoni.

Judge Lewis Liman on Wednesday ordered Baldoni to pay Lively $363,245.40 in attorneys’ fees and another $44,206.35 in court costs, according to court documents.

The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” actress initially requested that Baldoni fork over $8 million, claiming her “It Ends With Us” co-star owed her $7,495,526.87 in fees that she incurred while fighting his defamation lawsuit in addition to $539,514.01 in legal costs.

Baldoni balked at the pricy ask, with his legal team calling it “over-inclusive” and about 20 times the amount of hours spent on comparable defamation cases.

Liman ultimately sided with Baldoni, concluding that Lively was entitled only to “reasonable” fees related to defending herself against the defamation suit. He noted that while the attorneys’ billing rates were “not unreasonable,” given the high stakes of the case, the “number of hours for which Lively seeks reimbursement is unreasonable.”

The judge’s ruling comes after Lively and Baldoni settled their 18-month legal saga, which ultimately allowed them to avoid a federal trial that would have otherwise taken place at the end of May.

Their very public feud came to a head in December 2024, when Lively alleged that Baldoni sexually harassed her and tried to stage an online smear campaign against her while filming and promoting “It Ends With Us,” which he also starred in and directed. In response, Baldoni almost immediately filed a $400 million countersuit against the actress, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloane as well as Sloane’s PR firm, accusing them of defamation and breach of contract.

Baldoni’s suit was later dismissed, and a judge also later tossed 10 of Lively’s 13 claims against Baldoni, including sexual harassment. Then, in May, it was revealed the pair had reached a settlement, with no money exchanged.

“We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments,” they said in a joint statement at the time. “It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”

Taylor Swift shared a sweet tribute to late country music star Dolly Parton following news of her death at the age of 80.

“A world without Dolly doesn’t feel possible, real, or right. But because of the eternally generous way she spent her time on this earth and the countless lives she changed for the better, her legacy will be an everlasting one,” Swift said in a statement shared with multiple media outlets on Tuesday.

The “Fearless” singer went on to describe Parton as a “gift that kept on giving,” remembering her as “someone to look up to” and a teacher of sorts, who encouraged “us to be who we are as individuals.”

“Somehow she was able to give us her lessons about the world gently and honestly, simultaneously, and oftentimes hilariously,” Swift said.

“She managed to give the world the ultimate mystery and fantasy in some corners of her life, but to give full transparency in the ways that counted,” she continued. “Somehow she was true grace and true grit, all in one dazzling person. She possessed the softest heart when it came to the struggles of others, and a backbone of steel to defend her own self worth as an artist.”

The “Delicate” singer also emphasized how “grateful” she is for all that Parton shared with her fans, including “the melodies and lyrics she wrote that thawed even the coldest hearts. For the millions of books she provided children all over the world so that they might fall in love with stories the way she did. For the tightropes she walked so that young girls like me could grow up dreaming of joining the circus too.”

Swift concluded: “Dolly, I’ll think of you each step of the way.”

The “Love Story” singer first crossed paths with Parton in 2010 while backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, where they both performed for the venue’s 85th birthday. They remained friends afterward, and have not shied away from sharing their admiration for each other. Back in July, the Queen of Country took to Instagram to thank Swift and her husband, Travis Kelce, for their $2 million donation to her charitable organization, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Parton died in Nashville following a brief battle with cancer. Her nephew, Bryan Seaver, confirmed her death in a video shared to Instagram on Tuesday.

NEW YORK — Stand Up for Heroes will celebrate its 20th anniversary this fall in New York City with a performance by Bruce Springsteen and jokes by Hasan Minhaj and Jon Stewart.

The fundraiser, which benefits injured veterans and their families, will also feature The Resilient, Alex Warren and Josh Johnson of “The Daily Show.”

This year’s event will take place Nov. 9 at David Geffen Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Since its inception, Stand Up for Heroes has raised $117 million to help veterans and military families.

Stand Up for Heroes was first held in 2007 and is produced by the New York Comedy Festival and the Bob Woodruff Foundation. Woodruff was nearly killed during a 2006 attack in Iraq while embedded with U.S. troops for ABC News.

“When we started this way back in 2007 we thought it would just be a one-time concert. But it’s become one of the most meaningful nights of the year,” Woodruff said in a statement.

Tickets for Stand Up for Heroes are available now.

The annual event has attracted such celebrities as Stephen Colbert, Jim Gaffigan, Ricky Gervais, John Mayer, Seth Meyers, John Mulaney, John Oliver, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jeff Ross, Ray Romano and Jerry Seinfeld.
