Jan. 5 — Police charged Jamie Reed, 41, of Butler, with punching a man during a November altercation at a home on the 300 block of East Brady Street.The 55-year-old victim, who was bleeding from the head, told police that Reed knocked him to the ground and repeatedly hit him Nov. 2, according to court documents. Reed is charged with simple assault.

4:47 p.m. Tuesday—Randall Seebacher, 28, of Butler was injured in a two-vehicle wreck at Route 68 and Oakdale Road. The crash occurred when a vehicle driven by Shannon L. Dreves, 23, of Butler, turned and collided with the vehicle that Seebacher was driving.Seebacher was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a knee injury. Dreves was not injured. Both vehicles had to be towed. Police cited Dreves for failing to yield.Jan. 8 — Police charged Cathleen E. Piche, 43, of Butler, with being more than twice the state's legal limit for alcohol stemming from a November crash. She is accused of driving into a utility pole around 11:15 p.m. in the Crossbow Lounge parking lot at Lyn-Mar Plaza in Lyndora.Piche eventually was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test, which allegedly indicated her blood-alcohol level was 0.174 percent, In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated. She is charged with driving under the influence.

9:56 p.m. Tuesday — An unidentified vehicle struck a mailbox while traveling south on Country Club Road in Franklin Township. The unknown driver did not stop. Police said they believe the vehicle is a white sedan.Dec. 28 — Police charged Bradley S. Cramer, 31, of Summit Township, with having a drug-smoking pipe. The charge is linked to a June traffic incident in Butler. A trooper said he found Cramer in a car parked on the road after he noticed the vehicle going the wrong way on North Bluff Street.A consent search of the car, according to court documents turned up the suspected crack pipe. Cramer is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.Tuesday — Police charged Michael A. Cain, 39, of Clay Township, with drugged driving in connection to an October traffic stop in Butler. He was pulled over around 11:50 p.m. Oct. 15 on East Wayne Street near South Main Street.Cain was later taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test, which showed he had marijuana in his system, according to court documents. He is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving without headlights and careless driving.Dec. 21 — Dillon K. Wheeler, 20, of Butler, was charged with drugged driving stemming from a November traffic stop in Butler. Police said he was pulled over around 8:30 p.m. Nov. 27 on South Monroe Street near East Cunningham Street for not having his headlights or taillights on.Wheeler was later taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test, according to court documents, which showed he had marijuana in his system.In addition to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, he is charged with driving with a suspended license and a lighting violation.

4:26 p.m. Sunday — Kate E. Quinlan, 20, of Renfrew, was injured in a two-vehicle wreck in the area of the Premium Outlets in Springfield Township. She was taken to Grove City Medical Center with an apparent minor injury.Police said Quinlan and the other driver, Chad W. Harkless, 49, of Oil City, Venango County, were both traveling east on Route 208 just west of Route 258. Their sport utility vehicles collided when Harkless tried to change lanes. Quinlan's SUV after the collision struck a Premium Outlets sign.Harkless was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.
