Pittsburgh paper cuts print editions
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette will stop printing newspapers on Fridays beginning Feb. 26, reducing its print editions to two days per week. The paper told the Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh, Local 38061, which represents the paper’s staff, about the change in a Dec. 31 letter. The letter says the paper decided to become a digital news organization in June 2018. Two days of print were eliminated that year and two more days were eliminated in 2019. Feb. 26 will be last Friday edition of the paper.
