Seven Fields Community Days continue through Saturday
In its first large-scale community event since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Seven Fields kicked off its 11th annual Community Days Carnival this week.
Through Saturday, the carnival will be host to rides, games, food and fun, with fireworks on Saturday.
Borough manager Tom Smith said the lack of community events since 2019 will likely have an impact on how many people attend.
“This will be the first event that Seven Fields has held since pre-COVID and, again, I think there's a lot of excitement building for the event,” he said.
With a new carnival company from Mt. Pleasant, the carnival will also feature live music each day, including Velveeta on Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. Adult beverages will also be provided by two local businesses.
In terms of food, the options include funnel cakes, hot sausage, popcorn, sno-cones and deep-fried Oreos.
Ticket prices are $3 for a single ride or $20 to ride all day.
