The following items are from various police departments.

Friday, 12:22 p.m. — Cars driven by Calen A. Cygan, 30, of Butler and Miriam B. Altman, 47, of Owings Mills, Md., were involved in an accident on I79 south, just north of Little Creek Road in Jackson Township. No injuries were reported. Both cars were disabled.Saturday, 4:14 p.m. — A pickup truck driven by John C. Schrey, 47, of Slippery Rock went off the road at 298 Shields Road in Mercer Township and struck a tree. No injuries were reported. The truck was disabled.Dec. 16, 1:16 p.m. — A salt and plow truck that Alan W. Fleeger, 34, of Butler was using to clear Route 308 in Center Township slipped off the road and hit a guard rail. The road was slippery and closed due to road conditions. No injuries were reported. The truck had minor damage and the guard rail was damaged.Dec. 23, 5:35 a.m. — A car driven by Amos W. Good, 39, of Harrisville spun counterclockwise on Route 528 just west of Staff Road and struck a tree with the driver side door. He was extricated from the car by the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Saturday, 11:11 a.m. — A vehicle driven by Michael Gurney, 29, of Butler rolled onto its side on Route 422 west. Neither Gurney nor his five passengers were injured. The vehicle was towed.Saturday, 3:33 p.m. — Vehicles driven by Debbie Goldinger, 58, of Butler and Joseph Gigliotti, 37, of Saxonburg were involved in an accident on Whitestown Road at Meridian Road. No injuries were reported. Gigliotti's vehicle was towed.Thursday, 6:43 p.m. — A vehicle driven by Zackary Budner, 20, of Cabot was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of Morton and Center avenues. He suffered a possible shoulder injury. The other vehicle fled the scene, but police recovered a fog light from the vehicle.Thursday, 1:41 p.m. — Cars driven by James Baker, 41, of Evans City and Sherburne Vantassel, 56, of Butler were involved in an accident at the intersection of New Castle and Evans City roads. Vantassel had a minor injury, but refused medical treatment. Both vehicles were towed.Dec. 22, 11:08 p.m. — Vehicles driven by James Vilone, 35, of Lyndora and Rebecca Guzman, 36, of Butler were involved in an accident on Route 8 south. Guzman reported a minor head injury. Both vehicles were towed.Dec. 21, 8:38 p.m. — Vehicles driven by Sarah Styen, 26, of Butler and Shane Parsell, 47, of Butler were involved in an accident on Morton Avenue. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed.
