The following items have been gathered from various police departments:

Dec. 21, 2:05 p.m. — While driving south on I-79 in the Cranberry Township area, William C. Bodnar, 68, of Cochranton, began to lose control of his car when the attached trailer swayed. The car turned in a clockwise direction, sending it westward off the road and into a ditch. The trailer partially overturned when the car stopped. Bodnar wasn't injured.

Dec. 23, 7:44 p.m. — Dietrich Kaltenhauser, 20, of Butler crashed a car into an embankment, flipping the car over while driving on Criswell Road in the 100 block area. Police said the accident happened because Kaltenhauser became distracted and veered off the road.Kaltenhauser was uninjured but the car had to be towed away. Kaltenhauser was charged with driving without a license and careless driving.Dec. 20, 9:27 p.m. — Amanda Barlett, 26, of Mercer, was driving east on Route 422 when she drifted off the road. She overcorrected, sending her vehicle into a barrier. She suffered minor injuries and emergency responders transported her to Butler Memorial Hospital.Nov. 21, 12:48 a.m. — Police charged Alicia Metzger, 43, of Butler, with driving under the influence after she got into a car crash on Old Plank Road near Pittsburgh Pike.Dec. 18, 6:07 p.m. — Ronald Burns, 24, of Butler, was arrested and charged with simple assault, defiant trespass and harassment. Police said that he attempted to enter the apartment of his ex-girlfriend even though he had been told not to go there. Burns allegedly hit her with the door as he tried to get in the apartment.Dec. 6, 2:31 p.m. — Police charged Craig Skrenta, 30, of Butler, with retail theft after he allegedly walked out of Walmart without paying for 22 items valued at $171.52.
