Butler Township is extending the deadline for residents to sign up for food donations from the township’s food drive to Dec. 7.

Township residents in need of food should call 724-283-3430, extension 218, to sign up. People who want to donate can drop off nonperishable food items or cash at the township building until Dec. 16. Food requests will be confidential, and a township address must be verified. A designated time to pick up food boxes will be assigned for Dec. 19 at the township municipal building.
