AACSB International announced that Slippery Rock University has earned accreditation for its school of business. Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools and the largest business education network connecting students, educators, and businesses worldwide.

“I just want to commend the faculty, staff, administration, alumni, and students, as well as our external stakeholders, for the tremendous work they did for us to achieve initial AACSB accreditation,” said Lawrence Shao, dean of Slippery Rock University’s School of Business. “Without such an exceptional team effort, the process would have been even more difficult and taken much more time and effort. The final result of their hard work is a robust, top-quality business school with international recognition.”
