5:30 p.m. Nov. 21 — Rebecca M. McCorkle, 39, was arrested on charges she choked, bit and threatened her girlfriend during a domestic dispute at her apartment on the 400 block of North McKean Street.The victim told police that during the incident, McCorkle pushed her and threatened to kill her, according to court documents. The defendant also is accused of hitting the victim's head off of a wall and door, biting her right ear and attempting to strangle her.McCorkle was arraigned on misdemeanor charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and strangulation. She was placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond following arraignment.

7:38 p.m. Nov. 20 — A suspected impaired driver was arrested after allegedly pointing a handgun at two people in another vehicle at Sarver Road and Route 356 in Buffalo Township. No one was injured in what police described as a domestic-related incident.Daniel L. Fish, 52, of Summit Township, was arraigned on two counts each of reckless endangerment and simple assault, and a charge of driving under the influence. He is in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.Police said that after they were dispatched to the incident, they conducted a felony traffic stop at Lernerville Speedway, ordering the defendant to get out of his pickup and put his hands up. He subsequently told police that he had a gun under the driver's seat.An officer, in turn, recovered a .22-caliber revolver from the truck.Fish was later taken to Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights for a blood draw. Lab results were not immediately available.

Nov. 19 — Heather R. Finucan, 40, of Jefferson Township, was charged with submitting false information earlier this month on an application for a state license to carry firearms. The application Nov. 10 was rejected by the Pennsylvania Instant Check System, which is run by the state police.Finucan is charged with unsworn falsification to authorities.
