Morton sees time in Purdue opener
MELBOURNE, Fla. — Despite missing nearly three weeks worth of practice time due to a bout with mononucleosis, Butler graduate and Purdue freshman Ethan Morton played 10 minutes in the Boilermakers’ 77-64 season-opening basketball win over Liberty Wednesday night.
Motrton had two assists in his limited action. He came off the bench and saw some time at point guard.
