LOCK HAVEN — The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has announced the cancellation of its mandated regular season and championship competition for winter sports.

The decision came via a vote of the league’s Board of Directors.

Member institutions wishing to compete in fall and winter sport championship seasons had until late Wednesday to declare those intentions. A minimum of six schools needed to opt in for the PSAC to proceed with those seasons.

As a result, only women’s swimming and cross country will hold championship events in 2020-21 The PSAC spring sports season remains as scheduled.
