Brown, Schoeffel team for victory
WASHINGTON, Pa. — Driver Brady Brown of Slippery Rock and trainer Steve Schoeffel of Evans City combined for a win with Werner Hanover during harness racing action Wednesday at The Meadows.
Werner Hanover, a 3-year-old gelding, won a $5,400 Conditioned Claiming event.
Virginia Schoeffel, Kathy Schoeffel and Marian Schilling — all of Evans City — campaign Werner Hanover along with Thomas King III of Valencia.
Brown drove two more horses to wins at The Meadows Friday. He guided Jeffery Po to his second straight win in a $10,800 Conditioned Trot and 3-year-old filly trotter Hot Fuss to victory in a $9.700 Conditioned event.
Sleepin In The Sun, a 4-year-old mare trained by Nathan Bresnahan of Butler, won a $5,400 Conditioned Claiming Pace.
