North Catholic girls in WPIAL finals
FOX CHAPEL — North Catholic’s girls soccer team reached the WPIAL Class 2A championship game with a 2-1 victory Wednesday night at Shady Side Academy.
The third-seeded Trojanettes (12-2-1) won their seventh straight game in upsetting the No. 2 seed. The Class 2A title game is slated for noon Saturday at Gateway High School.
