It was so nice when you were here

To celebrate your birthday every year.

To honor you was such a pleasure

It’s a memory I’ll forever treasure.

You were the mainstay of this family,

JusWt the way it always should be,

You gave your all for each of us,

Never putting up a fuss.

You may be gone, but not forgotten.

I think of you so very often,

I wish you were here, but that’s not to be,

But you’ll always live on in memory.

And so, I’ll wish you “Happy Birthday”,

And pray that we’ll meet again some day.

Til then I’ll miss you more and more

Until we meet on that golden shore.
