D9 soccer playoff schedule released
Both Karns City soccer teams will be in action in the District 9 Class 2A soccer playoffs, which begin this week.
KC's girls earned the No. 2 seed and will host No. 3 Saint Marys at 6 p.m. Thursday at Diehl Stadium. The winner will advance to the district championship game against top-seeded Clearfield, 7 p.m. Nov. 3 in Brockway.
On the boys side, the Gremlins are the No. 1 seed. They will next be in action in the district final at 5 p.m. Nov. 3 in Brockway against the winner of Tuesday's clash between Saint Marys and Punxsutawney.
