Fall crawl, wildlife show Friday
Friday is a big day for art in downtown Butler.
A Butler Art Center-sponsored Fall Art Crawl is planned for Friday in downtown Butler.
The Fall Art Crawl will begin at 5 p.m. when numerous businesses on Main Street will be displaying artists' work, according to Stephen Haley, the Art Center's gallery director.
A list of businesses will be available Friday at the Art Center, 344 S. Main St. The art crawl continues through 9 p.m. Friday.
Also on Friday, beginning at 7 p.m., will be the two-hour opening reception for the Art Center's annual Nature & Wildlife Show. Sixteen artists from the region will be exhibiting their work.
Also Friday will be the opening of Sheila Klotz's watercolor show at the Art Center.The Art Crawl and admission to the Art Center are both free.The usual Art Center hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and the first and third Sundays of the month.Visit ButlerArtCenter.org or call 724-283-6922 for more information.
