Butler's boys soccer team defeated Seneca Valley, 2-1, Thursday night at the former's intermediate field.
Ian Llewellyn scored the first goal on an assist from Cody Lubinsky. Landon Mohney had the second goal, which was unassisted.

Slippery Rock won its first Region 2 match of the season Thursday at Tanglewood Golf Course in Lawrence County.Led by Jacob Wolak's 74, the Rockets tallied 321 strokes, edging Grove City's 327.It was the last of seven region matches this season.Also scoring for the Rockets were Logan Wolak (78), Jack Hadley (83) and Nick Ayres (86).Slippery Rock finishes the region slate in third place out of eight teams.
