WASHINGTON, Pa. — After 27 straight losses to begin her career, Dakota Dawne scored a win for owner/trainer Dennis Youshock of Slippery Rock in a $7.500 Conditioned Trot in harness racing Wednesday at The Meadows.

The 4-year-old mare covered the mile in 1 minute, 58.1 seconds.

Driver Brady Brown of Slippery Rock collected two more wins Wednesday. He guided 7-year-old mare Hedges Avenue A to victory in a $10,800 Conditioned Pace and led Arts Music to a win in a $5,400 Conditioned Claiming Pace.
