Butler soccer rolls, 3-0
Landon Mohney scored all three goals for Butler as the Golden Tornado shut out Shaler 3-0 Tuesday night.
Gavin Varner and Jack Beneigh had assists for the Golden Tornado. Mohney's third goal of the night was unassisted.
Noah Wolford picked up the shutout in net for Butler (2-1-1).
Freeport 4, Highlands 2 — Garrett Risch, Isaac Wetzel, Lukas Troutman and Cole Kovac all scored for the Yellowjackets (1-3).Wetzel also contributed with two assists while Anand Bhat and Chris Doerr both added a helper.Freeport's Sebastian Cordier made four saves in net.

Mars sophomore Blake Bertolo carded a 74 to finish first in the Section 3-3A golf individual qualifier Monday at North Park.Fellow sophomore Ryan Steigerwald tied for sixth place with an 80.
