Sentencings

Judge William Shaffer handed down the following sentences Thursday:

Joseph A. Sullivan, 39, of Bruin was sentenced to one year minus one day to two years minus two days to jail for theft. Sullivan was immediately paroled. He was charged April 9, 2018, and pleaded guilty Aug. 3.

Joseph M. Rodgers, 27, of Saxonburg was sentenced to six months of probation, a $300 fine and 25 hours of community service for driving under the influence. Rodgers was charged Jan. 6 and pleaded guilty Aug. 21.

Corey C. Morabito, 26, of Kittanning was sentenced to six months of probation with the first 14 days on house arrest and a $1,000 fine for driving under the influence. Morabito was charged Jan. 15 and pleaded guilty Aug. 21.

Michael Charles Summerill Jr., 33, of Valencia was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail, a $1,000 fine and 60 hours of community service for driving under the influence. Summerill was charged Sept. 12, 2019, and pleaded guilty Jan. 17.

Matthew Paul Dec, 51, of Butler was sentenced to six months of probation and a $300 fine for driving under the influence. Dec was charged June 11, 2019, and pleaded guilty July 9.

Jessica Lynn Weber, 34, of Butler was sentenced to one year in jail followed by a year of probation for simple assault. Weber was immediately paroled. She was charged May 2 and pleaded guilty Sept. 2.

Connor F. Hinton, 25, of Chicora was sentenced to 90 to 180 days in jail, a $1,500 fine, 60 hours of community service and 54 months of probation for driving under the influence. Hinton was immediately paroled with the first 105 days on house arrest. Hinton was charged Aug. 13, 2019, and pleaded guilty July 9.

David R. Stemmerich, 38, of Clintonville was sentenced to 18 months of probation for simple assault. Stemmerich was charged March 27 and pleaded guilty Aug. 18.

Marsha Diane Lavrich-Compton, 46, of Butler was sentenced to 15 months of probation for two counts of disorderly conduct. Lavrich-Compton was charged July 7, 2016, and pleaded guilty Jan. 15.

Matthew A. Haefner, 42, of Parker was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail, a $1,000 fine and 50 hours of community service for driving under the influence. Haefner was immediately paroled with the first 14 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Haefner was charged Dec. 11, 2018, and pleaded guilty July 17. In a second case, Haefner was sentenced to one year of probation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Haefner was charged on Aug. 29, 2018, and pleaded guilty July 17.
