Seneca Valley rolls out new podcast series
Seneca Valley School District is entering the growing world of podcasting.
Rolled out earlier this week, “Voices” features interviews with guests who share an inside look at what is taking place at the district. Episodes are released in near-real time, so audience members will hear about current topics.
The 13 episodes now available are each 10 to 12 minutes long, and address the return to school.
Interviews include Superintendent Tracy Vitale discussing how the district is preparing for the new school year; human resources director Kyra Bobak, talking about staff training and incentives for substitutes; and Seneca Valley Academy of Choice Principal Denise Manganello sharing how the established cyber program at SV differs from remote learning.
Future episodes will highlight sports and activities as well as social and emotional needs of students.
Non-COVID-19 episodes are also being planned to feature district construction projects, student registration and more. Special guests from the community, along with staff and students, will also participate.
