To hear his voice and see his smile 

That meant so much to me.

The passing days of life go on 

But still the vacant chair 

Recalls the strong and patient man 

Who at one time sat there. 

Nothing will ever take away 

The love my heart holds dear 

Fond memories fill me daily 

That will always keep you near.
