Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank located at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will be open for one day from 9:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 22 by appointment only. Clothing is free and no proof of income is required.

On this day, the church will be distributing children’s clothing only for the back-to-school season.

Participants must make an appointment by calling the church office at 724-283-0830 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Appointments are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Visitors will be asked that only one member of a family come into the closet to pick out clothing for the children in the household. Two people from separate families will be permitted in the closet for a 20-minute time period, wearing masks, and social distancing from the volunteers and the other visitor.

Grace’s Closet will not be accepting clothing donations Aug. 22.
