County to replace restroom faucets
The Butler County Board of Commissioners has approved the replacement of public restroom faucets in county government buildings to address sanitization concerns due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a news release Thursday, the board approved a $109,912 contract with Clark Contractors of Bedford to install touchless faucets in the Butler County Government Center, courthouse and annex buildings in Butler.
Butler County Commissioner Leslie Osche, board chairwoman, pointed out the expense is covered under the U.S. Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
“This is part of CARES Act funding to make the buildings safer,” Osche said in the release.
