WASHINGTON, Pa. — Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown guided Bakin On The Beach — a 40-1 longshot — to victory in a $5,400 Claiming Handicap Pace Monday in harness racing action Monday at The Meadows.

Bakin On The Beach, an 11-year-old gelding, now has $445,953 in career earnings.

Maracama, a 7-year-old trotter owned by Jennifer Johnston and trained by Aaron Johnston — both of Evans City — won a $5,400 event.
