The Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau’s new event, “Butler Bikes & BBQ” has been canceled. The event was to be at the Butler Farm Show Grounds located on Route 68 west of Butler from Sept. 17 to 20. The event will be rescheduled for 2021.

“We find it necessary to cancel the 2020 event as we have continued concerns about COVID-19 and its effects on the country. Under the current guidelines/restrictions, we felt that we could not maintain a safe environment for our guests and residents,” said Jack Cohen, president of the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau. “We made a very difficult decision to try again next year.

“We are looking forward to showcasing Butler County in this exciting way in 2021,” said Cohen.

The three-day event would have featured a variety of motorcycles, food and merchandise vendors, bike accessories and live entertainment each night.
