Cranberry Township's new “Take-Out Movie” offers a chance to ditch the delivery and skip the streaming in exchange for a safe family gathering that promises entertainment and food.
Take-Out Movies will begin Wednesday. The events will feature a family-friendly film as well as dinner and dessert options.
The movies will be shown on the lawn of the municipal center behind the Sample Schoolhouse. The July 29 event will feature “Secret Life of Pets 2,” plus a food truck and the Cranberry Roadside Creamery.
Additional movies and dates include:
n Aug. 5 — “Frozen II”
n Aug. 12 — “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood”
n Aug. 19 — “Aladdin” (live action).
Social distancing will be maintained. Masks are required unless eating or drinking.
Food trucks will be on site from 4 to 9 p.m. Movies start at 8:45 p.m. Visitors are asked to bring blankets and chairs.

Parking will be restricted from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday on nine streets in Butler for street cleaning.The streets are Walker, Maple, Glenn, Wallula and Clinton avenues and James, Rockway, South and Hickory streets.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announced the grand opening of a Fine Wine & Good Spirits in Northgate Plaza along Perry Highway in Harmony.All in-store wines, spirits and accessories will be 10 percent off during regular business hours Monday through July 29.A limited number of customers will be allowed in the store at a time to maintain social distancing. Customers and employees are required to wear masks. Other regulations will be relayed to visitors via signage.
