The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department announced its weekly summer events at Alameda Park. They are:
5:45 p.m. yoga classes and 7 p.m. Zumba classes Mondays at the Carousel Shelter;
6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Free Family Summer Concert Series at the Odd Fellows Gazebo with Cloud Chamber;
6:30 p.m. Free Outdoor Discovery July 30 with Specialty Outdoors doing a presentation at the Odd Fellows Gazebo;
8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Moonlight Swim & Dive-In Movie, “Frozen 2,” at the Alameda Waterpark.

Night disc golf will begin at 9:15 p.m. Saturday at Alameda Park's Masonic Shelter. Registration will be from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the shelter.A temporary course will be set up next to the Purple Park. This event is open to all skill levels and all money will be collected at the event.Bring your own discs. This is a night round — make sure they light up or glow.
