Wednesday — Police charged Michelle D. Vanscoy, 41, of Butler, with forging a receipt belonging to her landlord June 3 that claimed she had paid $600 for rent in June. She is charged with forgery and theft by deception.
11:34 a.m. June 7 — Douglas C. Fudoli, 51, of Butler Township, was arrested for public intoxication after he allegedly refused to leave the A-Plus Sunoco store on West Jefferson Street. Police said they found an empty stamp bag in his pants pocket.
Fudoli is charged with defiant trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.

1:37 p.m. Friday — Four people, two of them children, were hurt when sport utility vehicles driven by Verna S. Lerch, 76, of Butler, and Stephanie L. Pierce, 28, of Sarver, collided at Route 356 and Marwood Road in Jefferson Township. Both drivers and Pierce’s two passengers, a 6-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, all suffered apparent minor injuries.
Police said Pierce and the children were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment. Lerch was cited for improperly entering or crossing a road.
5:39 p.m. Thursday — A commercial vehicle struck two low-hanging wires while traveling east on Watters Station Road in Forward Township. The wires broke and dropped onto the ground. Police said the crash also damaged a utility pole and an outbuilding. Evans City volunteer firefighters assisted police at the scene.
Thursday — Police reported that they are investigating last month’s theft of a brown, 2021 Flagstaff camping trailer from the rear lot of B&R Camper Sales on Route 422 east in Summit Township. The camper was taken between June 2 and 4. Police have no suspects.
9:27 a.m. Sunday — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Slippery Rock Township. The crash happened when a pickup driven by Robert J. Guyer, 32, of Munhall, Allegheny County, collided with a car driven by Leland J. McCalmont, 80, of Harrisville.
Both drivers suffered apparently minor injuries. McCalmont’s passenger, Tracy J. Rice, 46, of Harrisville, suffered unknown injuries. McCalmont and Rice were taken to Grove City Medical Center.
Police cited Guyer for a stop sign violation.
12:28 a.m. Sunday — A Beaver County man was apparently hurt when he lost control of his car and struck a tree along Route 173 just north of Duffy Road in Brady Township. Joshua D. Thompson, 30, of Ambridge, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a possible injury.
His car had to be towed. Police cited him for disregarding traffic lanes.
