PA CareerLink to take appointments
After three months of virtual-only services, PA CareerLink Butler County will offer limited in-person services by appointment beginning July 1.
The office itself will be open by appointment to copy and fax documents, use the computers to search for jobs, complete educational assessments and fill out various types of paperwork. Due to the coronavirus, however, courtesy phones will not be available until further notice.
The office closed in mid-March due to statewide COVID-19 mitigation efforts, although it has made some virtual services available to job seekers and employers.
In addition, CareerLink will expand its virtual services, which now include career counseling, job search and resume assistance, virtual workshops, young adult programming, on-the-job training programs and Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act eligibility determination.
