COVID-19 Regional Update
Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration Thursday stressed the importance of masks.
Wolf issued a news release Thursday reminding Pennsylvanians that masks are required when entering any business in both the yellow and green phases of his plans to reopen the state’s economy.
The mask requirement is part of Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel’s Levine’s order concerning COVID-19 requirements.
“Mask wearing has proven to be an important deterrent to the spread of the virus, and as more counties move to green and more things reopen, we need to be vigilant in our efforts to continue our mitigation efforts,” Wolf said.
There was no mention in the news release about enforcement of this requirement.
The following numbers on the coronavirus pandemic were compiled from the regular news releases from the state’s Department of Health.
