Seniors asked to complete survey

The state’s Department of Aging is strongly encouraging people 60 and older to give their input on the State Plan on Aging for 2020 to 2024.

The brief survey asks seniors to prioritize services and quality-of-life issues that are most meaningful to them, according to a department news release.

The results will be included in the process of completing the plan, which is meant to provide services across the state for the next four years.

The online survey is available through June 21 at aging.pa.gov. A “Take the state plan survey” button is near the top of the page.

Those without Internet access can call 717-783-1550 by June 21 and leave a message that they want to take the state plan on aging community survey.

A department staff member will call back to administer the survey.

The aging department is required to submit a plan every four years.
