Wrong mail-in ballots sent to some voters
Five more voters received the wrong mail-in ballots, it was discovered Wednesday morning.
Wil White, county solicitor, said at Wednesday's county commissioners meeting that the Republican voters, all in Butler Township, received Democrat ballots for the upcoming primary election Tuesday.
Arrangements have already been made to hand-deliver Republican ballots to the voters, White said.
Two weeks ago, eight Democrats who requested mail-in ballots received Republican ballots.
White said the elections bureau is caught up on mail-in ballots. He said workers have processed 24,769 mail-in or absentee ballots and 500 more that came in Tuesday will be added to that number.
