The number of liquor stores open in Butler County during the coronavirus pandemic has grown to nine. On April 18, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announced the reopening of 176 stores across the state for curbside pickup which included only two in Butler County, both in Cranberry Township.

On Friday, the board expanded the initial list to include seven more stores in Butler County.

The locations of the nine liquor stores now opened in the county include:

• Northgate Plaza in Harmony

• Moraine Pointe Plaza in Butler Township

• Bon Aire Plaza in Butler Township

• Greater Butler Mart in Butler Township

• Main Street in Petrolia

• Cranberry Mall on Route 19 in Cranberry Township

• Slippery Rock Plaza in Slippery Rock

• Buffalo Plaza in Sarver

• Seven Fields Boulevard in Seven Fields

The seven additional liquor stores would begin offering curbside pickup starting Monday April 27. Only one order will be accepted per caller per day and cannot exceed six bottles, according to the PLCB, adding that store staff would inform callers about the availability of products at each location.

Orders by phone will be taken from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until the store reaches the maximum number of orders it can fulfill that day. The stores will operate Monday through Saturday.

Payment by credit card information will be required by phone, and all curbside pickup sales are final, meaning no returns.

Consumers can still order liquors, wines and spirits online, however, the site has issues with traffic volume and limits the orders it accepts each day. Online ordering can be accessed through https://www.finewineandgoodspirits.com/.
