The 2020 Cranberry Township Community Chest Community Days event is canceled.

Planning for Community Days usually begins in January, with vendors and entertainment booked by early spring.

Due to the status of the coronavirus pandemic, officials determined the best course of action is to cancel this year’s festivities.

Community Days draws more than 30,000 people over three days, according to Cranberry Township officials. At this time, officials say the township must be focused on providing essential services and keeping residents and employees safe.

Community Days will return next year. The event is scheduled for July 8 through 10, 2021.
