March 31 — Douglas W. Filer, 46, of Grove City is accused of looking through a window of a home on Rebecca Avenue and viewing a naked 15-year-old girl in December 2018. The charges followed an investigation that began in May 2019.During that investigation, police obtained a search warrant for Filer's computer, according to a police report, which revealed 62 images depicting children engaged in sexual acts.Filer was arraigned on two misdemeanor counts of invasion of privacy as a result of the initial investigation, and 62 felony counts of possession of child pornography as a result of the photos allegedly on his computer. He is free on $25,000 unsecured bond.

5 p.m. Sunday — James W. Arbogast, 60, was arrested after police say he punched his wife during a domestic dispute at their home on the 600 block of Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township.The woman recounted that after the assault, according to court documents, she fled to a relative's home, where she remained until reporting to police what happened. Police said she had bruising and swelling to her left eye and cheek.District Judge Lewis Stoughton arraigned Arbogast on charges of simple assault and harassment. He was released on nonmonetary bond and ordered to have no contact with the victim.2:50 a.m. March 14 — Four men landed in trouble with the law after they got into a fight at the Eat'n Park restaurant at the Clearview Mall in Center Township. Cited for disorderly conduct were Bryan K. Jack, 22, of Saxonburg; Nathan E. Pisor, 26, of Boyers; Nathan B. Rugh, 25, of Butler; and Aaron D. Shreve, 26, of Boyers.1:30 p.m. March 13 — An Armstrong County woman was caught allegedly shoplifting merchandise at a Clearview Mall store in Center Township. Kiana M. Bowser, 21 of Ford City is accused of trying to take $1,310 worth of clothing at Boscov's. She is charged with a first-degree misdemeanor count of retail theft.
