While Saturday’s A-K Valley Cager Classic has been canceled, a number of Butler County athletes and coaches were to be involved in the game.

The girls West squad was to be led by Knoch coach Chris Andreassi and his staff. The Knights’ Abby Shearer and Lauren Cihonski, Freeport’s Harley Holloway, Samantha Clark, Madeline Clark and Sidney Shemanski, and Mars’ Bella Pelaia were on the roster.

Butler’s Hailey Metzger was to play for the East squad.

The boys East team was to be coached by Mars’ Rob Carmody and his staff. Michael Carmody of the Planets was on the East roster.

Knoch’s Ron McNabb and his staff were to coach the West team. The Knights’ Scott Fraser, Jared Schrecengost and Jake Scheidt were playing, as was Freeport’s Aiden Skradski.
