The Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry has canceled its “Making the Most of Your Piece of Nature” which was scheduled to take place March 21 in Succop Theater on the Butler County Community College campus.
Jessica S. Pierce, service forester for the Pa. Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' Bureau of Forestry's Clear Creek Forest District in Prospect, said the cancellation was “a precautionary measure due to the coronavirus.”
Pierce said the department planned on having the workshop again on the BC3 campus in 2021.
The free workshop would have offered information on sustainably managing and increasing environmental benefits.
JEFFERSON TWP — HIS Kids Christian School will host “The Kindergarten Experience!” from 6 to 7 p.m. March 25 at the school located at 650 Saxonburg Road.Students and parents will participate in an example of a day in the life of a kindergarten student.
