ERIE — Moniteau graduate and Gannon University junior Kennedy DeMatteis has been named PSAC West Softball Pitcher of the Week.

DeMatteis went 3-1 for the week, including a career-high 10 strikeouts against Holy Family in a one-hitter. She finished the week with a 1.08 earned run average in four complete games.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University sophomore Andy McCymonds has been named PSAC West Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

He allowed three hits in six innings of a 5-1 win over Walsh.
