SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University sophomore Andy McClymonds has been named PSAC West Pitcher of the Week.

McClymonds scattered two runs over six innings, striking out nine in a 6-2 win over West Virginia State. He allowed only three runners past first base.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University softball standout Sara Mikulec has been named PSAC West Player of the Week.

Mikulec had six hits in 16 at bats against Virginia State over the weekend, including a triple, collecting five RBI and three runs scored.
