Pitt falls to Clemson
PITTSBURGH — Al-Amir Dawes scored 18 points Wednesday night as Clemson surprised the University of Pittsburgh, 72-52, at the Petersen Events Center.
The loss dropped the Panthers to 15-9 overall. Clemson improved to 12-12.
Freshman Justin Champagnie led Pitt with 11 points. Au’Diese Toney contributed 10 and Xavier Johnson eight as the Panther offense struggled to get going.
