Monday — Raymond W. Priester, 51, of Harmony was charged with driving with a suspended license-DUI related, a misdemeanor, stemming from a traffic stop around 9:20 a.m. Dec. 5 on Arbor Street near Hansen Avenue. He was also cited for driving an unregistered vehicle.
[naviga:h3]Butler Township Police[/naviga:h3]
Monday — Peter E. Armstrong III, 18, of Butler was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia stemming from an investigation of an accident around 8:55 p.m. Jan. 28 on Acre Avenue during which police allegedly recovered a baggie of suspected marijuana.
5:18 p.m. Jan. 25 — Daniel Nicodemis, 69, of Portersville was injured in a three-vehicle wreck on New Castle Road at Moraine Pointe Plaza. Nicodemis, a passenger in one of the vehicles, suffered a minor injury. The crash occurred when Robin Bennett, 60, of Slippery Rock turned her car in front of a sport utility vehicle driven by Felicia Duffield, 29, of Parker. The collision spun Bennett’s vehicle into a car driven by David Malovich, 26, of Butler. Nicodemis was riding in Bennett’s car. Police cited Bennett for making an improper left turn and disobeying traffic control devices.
[naviga:h3]Grove City Police[/naviga:h3]
1:44 a.m. Saturday — Bradley J. Surrena, 45, of Harrisville was arrested for driving under the influence on East Main Street. Police said he also was found with suspected marijuana. He is charged with DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana, driving a vehicle without insurance and driving with a faulty brake light.
1:13 a.m. Saturday — Gavin R. Tracy, 19, of Zelienople was caught with suspected marijuana and other contraband following a traffic stop on East Main Street. He is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, underage possession of alcohol, and driving with faulty brake lights.
[naviga:h3]State Police, Butler[/naviga:h3]
10 a.m. Saturday — Linda A. Gaiser, 66, of Butler lost control of her sport utility vehicle and struck a utility pole along Rock Road just east of Tracy Lane in Franklin Township. She was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.
Saturday — Holly A. Poulette, 26, of Petrolia was charged with driving on drugs stemming from a December traffic stop in Butler. Police said she was pulled over around 3:40 a.m. Dec. 14 on West New Castle Street. Toxicology reports showed she had several drugs in her system, according to court documents, including cocaine, benzoylecgonine, marijuana, mitragynine and fentanyl. Poulette is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving an unregistered vehicle, and careless driving.
9:51 p.m. Jan. 25 — Snowy conditions were blamed for a one-vehicle accident in Jefferson Township. The wreck occurred when a car driven by a 17-year-old Butler boy struck a culvert while making a turn at Bullcreek and Rockdale roads. Neither the driver nor a passenger, a 14-year-old Butler boy, was injured.
5:04 p.m. Jan. 13 — Stanley I. Gruver, 60, of Butler apparently lost control of his cargo van after falling asleep and crashed on Route 422 in Franklin Township, hitting a mailbox, street sign and utility pole. He was not injured, but the van had to be towed.
