The annual Youth Hoop Shoot, sponsored by the Elks Hoop Shoot Committee, takes place Jan. 11 at Butler Catholic.

Girls and boys ages 8-13 (as of April 1) are eligible to compete in this free throw shooting contest. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. at the school with competition running from 5 to 7 p.m.

Those qualifying will be eligible to participate in the upcoming District Hoop Shoot hosted by New Castle.
