Mars' Pelaia reaches 1,000
Bella Pelaia reached 1,000 career points as the Mars girls basketball team used a balanced scoring attack to take down Franklin Regional 52-32 Thursday night.
Pelaia scored 12 points for the Planets to reach the milestone and now has 1,005 career points.
Madeleine Horvath led Mars with 14 points. Alek Johnson and Ava Black each added 10.
