These items have been collected from various police departments.

11:04 p.m. Monday — Anthony Salvia, 37, of Slippery Rock, failed to turn around a left curve on Route 422 by Moraine Pointe Plaza. His vehicle continued straight and hit a pile of gravel. The vehicle suffered disabling front-end damage and was towed away. Salvia wasn't hurt.

8:38 a.m. Monday — James Barcus, 56, of Butler, was charged for public drunkenness after being found intoxicated in the parking lot of King's Family Restaurant on New Castle Road. Someone was called to give Barcus a ride home.

7:53 p.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Virginia Kurtz, 74, of Butler, crashed on the Route 422 westbound ramp. Kurtz entered the ramp from the southbound lane of Route 8, lost control of the vehicle and hit a guard rail. Kurtz was charged with driving with a suspended license. She was evaluated on the scene for injuries, but refused transport to the hospital.

10:05 p.m. Saturday — Two Butler men found near the 500 block of Hansen Avenue were charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Police were investigating the area after a suspicious person report. Charged were Michael Leath, 29, of Maryville, Tenn., and Todd James Dunmyre, 31, of Butler.

6:15 p.m. Saturday — During a welfare check at the Sheetz on Center Avenue, police found two men with drug paraphernalia. Read Tillotson, 29, of Butler, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness; and Willard Tillotson, 32, of Butler, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

6:39 p.m. Dec. 20 — Police charged Bailie Taylor, 21, of Lower Burrell, for failing to pay for a pair of $60 Nike shoes at Shoe Sensation in Butler Crossing.

1:22 p.m. Dec. 20 — No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of S. Duffy Road and New Castle Road. Charles Ramen, 47, of Lyndora, drove his car into the rear of a vehicle driven by Leeland Pfeifer, 68, of Harmony.

6:40 p.m. Dec. 17 — In a rear-end accident at the intersection of Evans City Road and Avon Drive, a passenger suffered a minor injury. Kayla McIntire, 20, of West Virginia, rear-ended Alan Schmeizer, 60, of Slippery Rock. Jessica Schmeizer, 24, a passenger in Alan Schmeizer's vehicle, was the injured person. McIntire was cited for speeding.

6:41 p.m. Tuesday — Gidget L. Reitler, 48, of Worthington, failed to stop at a stop sign on Knoch Road near the VFW Post 7376 in Saxonburg. Reitler drove through the intersection, off the road and into the VFW's front door, causing minor damage to the glass, according to police. She was uninjured and was issued a traffic citation.12:30 a.m. Sunday — Police charged Jason L. Armour, 40, of Sarver, with speeding after he struck a mailbox and left the scene. The homeowner whose mailbox was destroyed took a photograph of the license plate on Armour's Jeep Patriot. Police identified Armour as the driver and saw moderate front-end damage to the Jeep. No injuries were reported.1:22 a.m. Saturday — Jeremiah L. Uber, 37, of Grove City, crashed his car into a West Penn Power utility pole in the area of Centertown Road and Route 8 in Harrisville. Police report that Uber fled the scene before police arrived, but was later charged with a traffic violation.12:27 a.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Alan D. Gilliand, 62, of Butler, struck the passenger side rear tire area of a vehicle driven by Guinevere F. Fields, 24, of Butler, when Fields failed to yield the right of way while turning left onto Route 308 from Route 8. Fields was cited with failing to yield the right of way.6:43 p.m. Dec. 20 — Two vehicles had to be towed from the intersection of New Castle Road and Main Gate Road when a car driven by Austin J. Story, 21, of Franklin, turned left in front of a vehicle driven by Sean R. Waterloo, 24, of Natrona Heights. Story was cited with failing to yield the right of way.3:51 p.m. Dec. 20 — Marcus A. Ballew, 33, of Butler, was cited for following too closely when his vehicle struck the passenger rear side of a vehicle operated by Kelly J. Cypher, 31, of Butler, on Route 8 in Center Township. Ballew's vehicle then pushed Cypher's vehicle into a third car, about 300 feet from the initial impact. Cypher and the driver of the third car, David E. McLaughlin, 56, of Butler, suffered possible injuries.10:49 a.m. Dec. 20 — State police are seeking information about the theft of a steel utility trailer ramp valued at $250 that was stolen from the home of Daniel Butchko, 58, of Cherry Township.7:31 a.m. Dec. 20 — Lexis R. Bowser, 25, of Renfrew, drove off the right side of Prospect Road in Forward Township. Bowser was negotiating a right turn, according to police, when her 2010 Ford Fusion lost traction with the road, went into the ditch and then into the Connoquenessing Creek. Bowser was uninjured in the crash, and police cited her for driving outside of her traffic lane.1:37 a.m. Dec. 20 — Brian Kennedy, 48, of Butler, was charged with driving under the influence after being pulled over for a traffic violation on Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township.2:30 p.m. Dec. 19 — Regan E. Worsley, 18, of Butler, was charged with speeding after she struck a brick mailbox on Shannon Mills Drive. Police said blowing snow on the road also contributed to the crash as Worsley attempted to follow a curve in the road. Worsley was not injured in the crash.3:08 p.m. Dec. 19 — Kasey Spurk-Leonard, 23, of Renfrew, crashed her 2004 Saturn Ion on Lions Road in Center Township. Police said Spurk-Leonard was driving north and taking a turn when the steering wheel locked up, causing her to hit the brakes and fishtail off the road, down an embankment and into a tree. Spurk-Leonard was not injured in the crash, and she was not charged with any violation.4:24 p.m. Dec, 18 — Shawn H. Felsing, 21, of Cheswick, Pa., was charged with speeding after he crashed his vehicle into a mailbox on Saxonburg Boulevard. Police said Felsing was navigating a turn when the rear end of his vehicle began sliding. In attempting to correct the 2003 Buick LeSabre, Felsing struck a mailbox, which caused the car to spin 180 degrees. The car came to rest about 200 feet from the mailbox on the left side of the road. Felsing was not hurt in the accident.7:30 a.m. Dec, 18 — State police charged Natalie N. Scaramazza, 24, of New Castle, with following too closely when her vehicle rear-ended a car driven by Beau P. Obreza, 22, of Mercer, on Interstate 79 southbound in Cranberry Township.

11:11 a.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Beth A. Miller, 40, of Titusville, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Jeffrey S. Catterson, 41, of Hatfield, on I-79 southbound in Plain Grove Township. Miller was cited with following too closely. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.3:30 p.m. Tuesday — State police are seeking information about the theft of a MIG welder and three pipe wrenches valued at $1,200 that were stolen from the garage of Betsy Chutz, 70, of Grove City.
