POLICE REPORTS

These items have been collected from various police departments.

12:27 a.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Galan D. Gilliand, 62, of Butler struck the passenger side rear tire area of a vehicle driven by Guinevere F. Fields, 24, of Butler while Fields was turning left onto Route 308 from Route 8. Fields was cited with failing to yield the right-of-way.

6:43 p.m. Friday — Two vehicles had to be towed from the intersection of New Castle and Main Gate roads when a car driven by Austin J. Story, 21, of Franklin turned left in front of a vehicle driven by Sean R. Waterloo, 24, of Natrona Heights. Story was cited with failing to yield the right-of-way.

3:51 p.m. Friday — Marcus A. Ballew, 33, of Butler was cited for following too closely when his vehicle struck the passenger rear side of a vehicle operated by Kelly J. Cypher, 31, of Butler, on Route 8 in Center Township. Police said Ballew's vehicle then pushed Cypher's vehicle into a third car, approximately 300 feet from the initial impact. Cypher and David E. McLaughlin, 56, of Butler, the driver of the third car, suffered possible injuries, according to reports.

10:49 a.m. Friday — A steel utility trailer ramp, value $250, was stolen from the house of Daniel Butchko, 58, in Cherry Township.

1:37 a.m. Friday — Brian Kennedy, 48, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence after being pulled over for a traffic violation on Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township.

8:24 p.m. Thursday — One operator is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol when a green 2014 GMC Sierra struck a black Jeep Grand Cherokee on Chicora Fenelton Road in Donegal Township.

7:30 a.m. Tuesday — State police charged Natalie N. Scaramazza, 24, of New Castle with following too closely when her vehicle rear-ended a car driven by Beau P. Obreza, 22, of Mercer on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.

9:32 a.m. Dec. 6 — Danya Vignoli, 30, of Pulaski, Pa., left the scene of a two-vehicle crash and state police say she showed signs of impairment. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood draw. Vignoli was then transported to Butler County Prison on unrelated warrants.

11:11 a.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Beth A. Miller, 40, of Titusville rear-ended a vehicle driven by Jeffrey S. Catterson, 41, of Hatfield on Interstate 79 in Plain Grove Township. Miller was cited with following too closely. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.3:30 p.m. Tuesday — A MIG welder and three pipe wrenches with a total value of $1,200 were stolen from the garage of Betsy Chutz, 70, of Grove City. State Police are seeking information.
