Benson nets 20 in SR girls' defeat

Kelly Benson scored 20 points and Anna Kadlubek added 12, but the Slippery Rock High girls basketball team dropped a heartbreaker, 44-43, at home to Hickory Wednesday night.

The Rockets were playing without Hallie Raabe, who suffered an ankle injury.

Slippery Rock is already without last year's leading scorer, Maryann Ackerman, who suffered a torn ACL this summer.
